I am going to buy a NH boomer this fall. A couple of questions. I will use it primarily for moving manure, grading and moving snow (up to 1-2 ft at a time). I am debating the 40 or 45 horsepower and don't know if I can justify the 2000 dollars extra for the 5 horses. Also, I am wondering if anyone has a tip-over concern with the supersteer.

If your main use for the tractor is for loader work than the TC40 is fine. Also I would not recommend super steer for loader work. With that option it is very trick to maneuver around with the loader because the bucket will move in the opposite direction the the wheels when you turn. There is however no need for concern for tip over they are very stable tractors. The only time I ever suggest super steer is when you have a mid mount mower. These tractor have a tight turning radius with out super steer. They also have independent left and right brakes so if the occasional extra sharp turn is needed you can use the brake to help. ....
